O.U.M.P.H.

Rotonde du Mont-Blanc | 20h - 21h45 | Concert

You’ve been warned: with O.U.M.P.H., techno arrives with a bang and your feet won’t stop dancing!

Who said techno couldn’t be made without machines? Certainly not this entirely acoustic brass band, which plays with electricity and proves the opposite! Made of percussion and wind instruments, this Utopian Organism of Hexadecimal Pulsed Mechanics recreates the electrifying atmosphere of the best dancefloors. Ten musicians come together to celebrate an unexpected union, where the bass drum pulses like a devil under the fire of the roaring brass that carries the crowd away…

Cédric Schaerer (bass drum, composition), Aina Rakotobe (baritone saxophone, composition), Sarah Amar (snare drum, percussion), Nicolas Salmon (sousaphone), Patricia Monory (trumpet), Étienne Froidevaux (trumpet), Orphée Religieux (trumpet), Pedro Degaut (trombone), Théo Hanser (trombone), Sabine Lambert (alto saxophone)
